Sono 56 quest’anno i prodotti prescelti da TIA (Toy Industry Association) per le nomination all’ottava edizione del Toy of The Year (TOTY) che segna il conto alla rovescia della kermesse americanan del giocattolo che quest’anno si terrà a New York dal 17 al 20 febbraio 2008. Tra i nominati prodotti di Mattel, Hasbro, Spin Master, Leapfrog, Jakks, Disney e Manhattan Toy. La premiazione si terrà il 16 febbraio presso Chelsea Piers a New York. Inoltre Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, terza generazione della famiglia Lego e principale azionista del Gruppo, verrà inserito nella Toy Hall of Fame.
