TOTY Awards 2025, premiati i migliori giocattoli dell’anno

I vincitori dei Toy of the Year Awards 2025 (TOTY Awards 2025) sono stati annunciati durante la 25ª edizione dell’evento, che ha riunito a New York quasi 800 professionisti del settore toy per celebrare l’innovazione e l’eccellenza nel gioco.

La serata ha visto l’assegnazione del prestigioso riconoscimento di Toy of the Year al RealFX Disney Stitch Puppetronic di WOW Stuff!, un pupazzo animatronico ispirato al celebre personaggio Disney. Il gioco da tavolo Story Time Backgammon di Story Time Learning ha invece conquistato il People’s Choice Award, grazie al voto diretto dei consumatori.

Oltre ai premi principali, il TOTY ha assegnato riconoscimenti in 16 categorie, tra cui:

• Action Figure of the Year: Transformers One Power Flip Optimus Prime (Hasbro)
• Collectible of the Year: Deddy Bears Plush in Coffin (Innov8 Academy)
• Construction Toy/Playset of the Year: Gecko Run: Marble Run (Thames & Kosmos)
• Creative Toy of the Year: Mini Brands Create MasterChef (ZURU)
• Doll of the Year: 12” Rainbow Brite Doll (The Loyal Subjects)
• Educational Toy of the Year: National Geographic Epic Circuits Science Kit (Blue Marble)
• Game of the Year: UNO Show ‘em No Mercy (Mattel)
• Grown-Up Toy of the Year: LEGO Ideas JAWS (LEGO)
• Infant/Toddler Toy of the Year: Scan & Sort Grocery Cart with Lights and Sounds (Radio Flyer)
• License of the Year: Bluey (BBC Studios)
• Outdoor Toy of the Year: PoppinColorz Hydra 2-in-1 Blaster (South Beach Bubbles)
• Plush Toy of the Year: Emotional Baggage (Solobo Toys)
• Preschool Toy of the Year: Melissa & Doug Sort, Stock, Select Wooden Vending Machine Play Set (Spin Master)
• Specialty Toy of the Year: HEXEL (Plus-Plus USA)
• Tech Toy of the Year: RealFX Disney Stitch Puppetronic (WOW! Stuff)
• Vehicle of the Year: RoboRails: The Robot Monorail System (Thames & Kosmos)
• L’evento ha anche celebrato l’ingresso di nuovi membri nella Toy Industry Hall of Fame, tra cui Maxine Clark (Build-A-Bear Workshop), Sharon
• DiMinico (Learning Express Toys) e il leggendario Professor Erno Rubik, inventore del Cubo di Rubik
