Alla 115esima edizione della Toy Fair di New York sono stati assegnati i Toy Of The Year Awards (TOTY), suddivisi in 17 differenti categorie. I grandi vincitori della serata sono stati Fingerlings by WowWee USA e LOL. Surprise! by MGA Entertainment, che hanno condiviso l’ambita onorificenza di “Toy of the Year”. A vincere il premio dato dai consumatori, People’s Choice Award, è stato Funko’s Mystery Minis by Funko. Durante la cerimonia di premiazione, inoltre, due imprenditori dell’Industria del Giocattolo sono stati inseriti nella Toy Industry Hall of Fame: si tratta di Andrea Barthello, co-founder e COO di ThinkFun.e James R. Becker, founder of licensing company Anjar Co.
